Central Indiana REACT-CERT has several Amateur Radio operators on our team and have plans to add more
soon. These HAM’s allow us to continue in our efforts to be an "All Mode" “All Hazards” communications
organization.
Some of the Amateur Radio Operators of Central Indiana REACT-CERT are also members of the Amateur Radio Relay
League (ARRL). A
very beneficial working relationship for both parties.
It is good to see that through the forward-looking
examples and leadership of Central Indiana REACT-CERT other local groups are re-evaluating their long standing stance, and
are encouraging team members to become Amateur Radio Operators. . All of us benefit
from teams having more tools in their toolbox when it comes to helping each other and the communities that we serve!
